About Us

North Arm Shotgun Association of QLD Inc (NASAQ) has a rich and diverse history as a club originating over 35 years ago as a Field and Game Club.

NASAQ is a club affiliated with Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) and has grown to be one of South East Queensland’s premier clay target shooting venues with multiple disciplines available – Skeet – 5 Stand – and 2 Sporting Clay layouts including the ‘infamous’ Gully.

The Club is situated in a picturesque elevated location on the side of a Range, with a changing variety of target set ups to shoot around & behind trees & bushes creating a unique and challenging experience enjoyed by professional and amateur shooters alike.

Current club membership is strong with circa 200 members. Practice Sessions and Competitions are well patronised.

Our club is proudly run solely by volunteers. Please be courteous and respectful to those giving up their time for you to enjoy the sport of clay shooting.

Looking to get involved you can help simply as a member on practice/competition days helping set up and pack up or if you have more free time maybe consider joining the committee?

Please speak to one of our friendly committee members – all help is appreciated.

NASAQ is lucky to have 2 major sponsors and several minor sponsors.

FSB Ammunitions supplies the club with ‘Target Smashing Solutions’ in the form of quality ammunition.

FSB Ammunitions representatives attend and participate on both practice and competition days and provide sponsorship in the form of prizes on competition days.

Ammunition from FSB Ammunitions is available for purchase from the club directly. If we don’t stock what you are looking for simply order online and your purchase can be delivered to the club for you to collect.

Top Shot Industries supplies the club with ‘eurotarget’ clay targets and MEC trap machines. Our practice and competition days run smoothly given the reliability and dependability of both these products. Representatives from Top Shot Industries attend competitions at the club and provide prizes during our ‘Club Championship’ round. claytargetshooting.com.au
