About Us

North Arm Shotgun Association of QLD Inc (NASAQ) has a rich and diverse history originating over 40 years ago as a Field and Game Club.

NASAQ is affiliated with Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (SSAA) and has grown to be one of Southeast Queensland’s premier clay target shooting venues with multiple disciplines available – Skeet – 5 Stand – and 2 Sporting Clay layouts including the ‘infamous’ Gully.

Shooting Schedule

NASAQ is open every Wednesday and Sunday morning, and a Monthly Competition for licenced shooters is held on the First Sunday of each month.

Participation is ONLY open to licensed shooters.

Licensed Members of other Clay Target Clubs are welcome.

Currently, we are unable to accommodate unlicensed persons.

Licensed Shooters ONLY

Things you need to know

Participants must be 11 years or older (unlicensed minors must have a licensed adult with them).
Unlicensed minors cannot participate in competitions.
Unlicensed minors must produce photo ID such as passport or school ID (physical document is required – digital copies are not acceptable).
Enclosed footwear must be worn, No singlets or camouflaged clothing.
Ear protection will be provided, and we highly recommend a hat, and eye protection (prescription glasses or sunglasses are also acceptable).
Ammunition and Gun Hire available at club.
All participants and visitors must sign in.
By signing NASAQ RANGE REGISTER you acknowledge you have read, understand and will obey Range Standing Orders.
EFTPOS is available at the club.

NASAQ is proudly run by volunteers.

Please be courteous and respectful to those giving up their time for you to enjoy the sport of clay shooting.

If you are looking to get involved you can assist as a member on practice/competition days helping to set up and pack up, or if you have more free time maybe consider joining the committee?

Our practice and competition days run smoothly given the reliability and dependability of both these products. First Shot Training Solutions is a local Sunshine Coast based company which provides nationally accredited firearms safety courses. Their goal is to deliver top-quality training in a friendly, professional and safe environment. Their firearm safety courses are conducted at various locations around Southeast Queensland including using our very own facilities at NASAQ.
